We used to buy from Nuts.com and were satisfied with their product. We no longer order there, but I don't know why. BTW, I love ice cream but cheese cake not so much. Wife used to make a special cheesecake for Christmas every year, and I ate it for many decades. She was destroyed when I finally revealed that I wasn't that fond of it and only ate it so she wouldn't feel bad.
I use to buy the big bags of walnuts from Nuts.com quite a bit. The walnuts use to be so fresh and tasty. Ever since COVID, the quality went down. I also remember they jacked up the price to $33.00, when they were about $18.00 normally. They lowered the price pretty quick after complaints. I continued to buy few more bags of walnuts from them but, after a few bags, I stopped. It seemed like every bag I got, half of the bag had very dried out walnuts in it. Since there was no returns on food items anymore, I changed to Amazon Walnuts. They have been pretty fresh, thus far. The price has been slowly sneaking up on them too; like no one would notice.
I've commented before that I lived around the corner from a place called The Cheesecake Factory. They make cheesecakes for regional restaurants and had a retail counter. I was eating a 2# cheesecake every week, all by myself. I always put fresh fruit on it. Kiwi was my favorite.
I've not looked at Amazon's prices. I know I had to hit a $50 order minimum on Nuts.com to get free shipping from Nuts.com, but don't recall if there was a Handling fee that made shipping prohibitively expensive so you really had no choice but to buy a lot. I bought mine last January and the quality was fine. It's just tough for me to put together a $50 order. I added Macadamia nuts and pumpkin seeds to try them with some spice coating, but it was a waste of money. I guess I could just buy walnuts and pecans and freeze what I won't use immediately.
For some reason, walnuts on Nuts.com are cheap...$5/#, which is 1/2 of Walmart's price. Pecans are about 10% higher than Walmart but are from Georgia and not "maybe Mexico, too."
