Guilty Pleasures Food Favorites and Snacks

I'm not familiar with Lawson's, Connie, but it sounds like it would be good on a baked potato. I used to love onion dip when I was a kid.
The only onion dip we ever had when I was a kid was Lipton Onion Soup Mix (dry) and cream cheese. I don't think we ever used sour cream or bought a pre-made dip. As an adult, I don't think I've ever made a cream cheese-based dip.

There are i no ice cream places in SW Ks unless you drive 100 miles to Doge City. I think they have a DQ
These are the only eating places here.. Pizza..opens at 5 pm.. small restaurant, open most days. food is decent.
The closest place to get artificial ice cream in downtown grocery store here.
Sooo, we make our own ice cream. Unfortunately, our ice cream is becoming known in the town, a long with Marks cookies.
If we get help around here for anything, no money, ice cream please ! Sigh

Lawsons stores were mostly in Ohio and just inside bordering states. Their onion chip dip sales beat out the under age beer sales😂😂

I am surprised Circle K up that way stocks it, but it shows that people still love it.❤️❤️

It is great on a baked potato — I did that too🤠🤠.

I never buy or make dips unless we're having people over. My husband doesn't like sour-cream based stuff (gasp) so he isn't interested unless it's bean dip or salsa. That means I'd have to eat it all by myself... how awful. :D

I used to keep raw veggies around for snacking, and make either a homemade Horseradish/Bacon dip or a Pistachio dip made with cottage cheese as the base. The pistachio dip was always a pretty pink...it never occurred to me to buy non-dyed nuts.
