Fires in the western states this summer are really bad!

There are wildfires burning all over in the western states right now, and just last night new fires started in Spokane, which closed a large portion of northwest Spokane, and burned a lot of homes in that part of town.
The Spokesman-Review is saying that it was the worst natural disaster ever in Spokane’s history.

Since I was born in Spokane and loved most of my life someplace in the Pacific Northwest, I still follow news from that part of the US as much as possible. Looking at their brochure Spokane fires photos and videos, I can see that these fires also burned houses down to the foundations, but the trees around the houses all look fine and green, with no sign of being burned.
This is how many of the worst fires have looked in the last few years. Houses, and even cars, burned completely, with trees and shrubbery still standing and not burned.

They are saying that at least one of the Spokane fires was started by humans, so maybe arson, and maybe just someone foolishly starting a fire that got out of control.

We used to live in that neck of the woods.
Crete is on fire including deceased fire fighters and two helicopters carrying Bambi buckets colliding in mid air. France and Spain are in bad shape as is part of Germany.

Yes, it seems like fires are everywhere. Are you saying that you used to live in the Pacific Northwest, or just writing about fires in other countries ? It is hard for me to tell what you are saying from your post, @Marie Miller, since the thread is about the western US fires, and you are writing about European fires.

From Europe, have close friends all over there and lived a while in the Pacific NW. Sorry!

Youtube is suggesting causes but often comes back to climate change. Yes, it has been hot and dry this year almost everywhere. I prayed that no one would set off fireworks at home this year and it seems no one did in my area for the first time. Our drought seems to be over finally. We had no fires here because no one burned brush!!! Not sure about barbque grills. But I know there are nerf balls that set fires for fun and notoriety and even sparks can set things off from cigarettes and engines.

It now appears that there was at least one arsonist setting off the terrible fires that have been burning in and near Spokane last weekend, and some of which are still spreading into the city.
They arrested one person so far, and he has a criminal record, including murdering his own father; so not a nice person, it sounds like.

As with some other fires in the last few years, the houses were burned to the ground, and even cars were burned ; but the grass and trees are fine in many areas. By the time people were warned to evacuate, the fire was raging across the Spokane River and into the homes that were in that part of northwest Spokane.
The fires are still burning in some areas, and thousands of people have been evacuated . This is apparently the same area where there is a proposed data center, which the people rejected, and now their homes are burned and gone, and the whole area demolished, just like happened in California and in Hawaii.

Aside from the factor of arson, how much might be down to land management?

Draining wetlands, development/paving, decades of hydropower use that both profits from drainage projects and channelizes natural rainfall more rapidly to the sea when it isn't artificially deep-ponding the water? Dropping aquifers might be one result.

Maybe such things are magnifying the effects of natural climate cycles?

Some of the fires that are started by lightning out in forests are definitely happening because of improper forest management. We had the big thing with the spotted owl, and other reasons where loggers were prevented from taking out trees where the forests should have been properly thinned. However, I grew up in the PNW, and we never had as many forest fires as are happening out there now.

Some of this has been political, or orchestrated for one reason or another, just like the hurricanes that “stopped” over Tennessee and North Carolina and flooded everything, and were being manipulated by weather control. Then the people who lived in those areas did not receive help, and afterwards, the land gets taken over.

Some of the western fires in Washington, Oregon, and California were set by arsonists, and some of them were found to be part of the Black Lives Matter organization. They have found at least one arsonist for the fires in Spokane, and there was no storms there to cause the fire with lightning.
These fires are actually in the suburbs of the city, and not out in the forest, the fires are burning all around the edges of the city. Moose, deer, and other wildlife are now trying to find shelter in the developed areas where the fires stopped and there is grass and shrubbery for them to eat.

Yeah. After the brief recap-intro the beginning of this deals with the wildfire topic:

The rest of the video goes into the machine behind it all.

Of course those swallowing the Tucker psyop won't sit through anything long enough to inform them. They'll keep dancing to the tune played by mainstream media.

Oregon has broke their record for the worse fire season. Now over 2 million acres.

The Big Grass fire is at 336,779 acres little containment.

Crosswhite fire is 313,439 acres.

Coleman Creek is at 264,840 acres. .

Fox met the Powder River fire burning 100,000 acres. 3 homes burnt.

The Bench fire is 67,278 acres at Warm Springs Reservation. 6 homes burnt.

Eastern Washington

The Kaiser Canyon on the Colville Reservation is at 136,422 acres. 24 homes burnt.

The Old Lane, Fairview, and Autumn Lane fires around Spokane have burned 8,000 acres. 7,000 structures burnt. Fatalities unknown. Fire went thru one neighborhood at night.

Lots of smoke in my area but all close fires have been put out or contained.

I am so glad to hear that you are not having any of the fires close to you except the ones that are at least contained, @Faye Fox ! I have been really concerned about all of my family and friends who live out west this year , because it seems like there are more fires each year, and most of them are now being set by arsonists. People have seen and reported these arsonists, who even drive down the highways and throw out burning paper to start some of the fires that have started near main roads.

When I was growing up, and even after that, we seldom had forest fires, and now they are not even calling them that because they are being started by arsonists, and they call them wildfires instead, since they are not just in forest now, but happening in towns.

Yes, it seems strange that with the push to abolish ranching in Oregon and Washington, that grazing range land and fall pasture are burning at a record level. It will bring down the cost of beef and certainly hurt ranchers. They caught one arsonist, but all is quiet who is funding them.

It is organized crime sponsored by the liberals.

While I would like to believe that this is organized and sponsored by the liberals, I am not totally sure of that anymore. It appears to me that more and more of this kind of thing is happening and loss of freedom might be coming from both sides of the street.
I have seen conservatives who are in favor of these data centers, and apparently they are going to be under some kind of military control eventually, from what i have read online (so do with that what you will….).
We are being told that we will have more freedoms and better economy, but it is starting to look like we are heading for more government control in many areas now.

I've been seeing large Kansas farms with wheat and corn fields that show odd patterns of "drought stricken" crops. There are green areas doing ok, interlaced with swaths of ashy yellow-brown. I would not be shocked to hear that raging fires begin erupting there as well.

I suspect the differences are due to upper level ground water flows. As the near-surface water table drops some parts run drier earlier.

Here is an interesting thing. I was reading a post from north Idaho that was on a facebook group, and the person reported a “spontaneous ground fire” on his property. He said that the earth was hot underneath where the fire started, and he followed the heated area for a ways and then the dirt was cool again. This was from very near Sandpoint, where i grew up.

I remember reading something about this happening , but it was a while back and i don’t remember the whole thing. I think it has to do with the plates shifting under the earth, which is also affecting the earthquakes and volcanoes that are having eruptions.
If this is happening in more places, it could definitely be part of what is causing the extra forest fires now, but obviously, not all of them, since they are finding the arsonists.

There is a “rabbit hole” account I follow on Twitter who says we will be having more fires all over, getting worse towards the end of the year, more quakes, including the New Madrid one being active, and Yellowstone complex.
They also say a pole shift is happening by around next February.
The reports are pretty scary, and they involve Planet X/Nibiru, so I just kind of read them and wear my tinfoil hat.

Could have been a root fire.

We sometimes have that @Yvonne Smith when fire travels underground on veins of peat or even coal. Sometimes the fire even survives the winter snow, but that is uncommon.
