I like Arby's, but we don't have one near us since the one in Bangor closed.
Haven't been there for a lonnnnnnnnng time. Ours is a drive-thru.A few weeks ago we went to A & W Restaurant ....wow breakfast was so good . Too good lol
Not to mention that they had the best "Indiana State-Mandated Sandwich", the fried pork tenderloin on a bun. There was one near the house I grew up in and that was my favorite sandwich.I had them the first time in June 1963 when we moved to Virginia from Indiana. I was a kid and hated ketchup on my burger, and they didn't do special orders. I was not impressed, either, but have been back many times.
Back in the midwest, fast food places served hot dogs and root beer.

I don't think I ever ate at a Taco Bell until maybe 10 years ago, and nothing else was open. I was surprised at how "not awful" it was.Although I've never seriously viewed it as Mexican food, I used to like Taco Bell, and there was a time when I could eat stuff from Taco Bell without slobbering it all over my shirt; it's not me - there's way more liquid than meat these days.
I read complaints that the prices have gone up, but T.B. seems to be the best "bargain for what you get" among the fast food places. When they opened the first Taco Bell in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, I would often joke that, "Finally, some decent Mexican food in the Valley."
