I wasn't aware that such was happening in other places. Usually we have some kind of trouble and sirens all night, but this 4th, just lots of booms from loud illegal fireworks, no fires, no sirens, no arrest, no property damage, and no problems reported.
As far as parenting in America, I think what little control parents had was lost during the four years of Democrat fascism. Caring parents were stripped of rights by school boards, other government agencies, and the unnecessary biological war fought with a virus, forced kids into being online for most of their socialization, leaving parents on the defensive and at a loss how to handle situations.
Parents had no idea what brainwashing their kids were victims of.
All the WOKEcaused further division between parents and kids. With kids being encouraged and sponsored, to protest any cause without knowing what they were protesting, lawlessness ensued. Criminal behavior under the disguise of civil disobedience, was encouraged. When kids see their grandmas out singing stupid vulgar songs, holding signs supporting terrorism, and causing unrest, I will go out on a limb and say maybe the good parents have just given up.
While I'm sure that the woke BS is a factor, my opinion is that "gentle parenting" and awarding participation trophies has just gone too far. Seems like every other kid nowadays has some kind of mental issues, ADHD, hyper-activity, is "on the spectrum", blah, blah, made-up-bullshit-for-bad-behavior, blah. What happened to setting expectations for behavior and following up with actual consequences when a child pushes those boundaries? Children are given too many choices and too little consequences these days, from disinterested parents staring at their phones.
