Yes, I was hoping to go back someday. But the free food and drinks are no longer nor the group bus tours and discounts. Even the river and dam are depressed. I guess I will have to see it on youtube.

It is cold and very windy today with North winds. It was 82 degrees yesterday. This morning it is 52 degrees but feels much colder with the North winds blowing. We have a frost advisory for this weekend. The middle of next week it will be in the 80's again, supposedly. Good Grief!!!

We're getting our first "cool snap"; it will be 50 degrees overnight and in the 40's tomorrow night. Of course then it will be back in the 90s next week so typical Houston weather. It is really windy and about 70 degrees, but 90% humidity so the air feels heavy.

We had north winds cooling things off more, here too. The chickens were huddled back by the hay and yelled, "Close the door!" when I came in to feed. No 80's will follow up here though.

I forgot to say that the 60 degree temp would be in the wee hours of the morning. It has been falling all day. My outdoor thermometer is showing 50 right now and still falling. Gonna be a two dog night.
