It's The 1970's... What Are You Doing?

LOL, Milly! She sure was!

She added a forth to the mix eventually, but the first three came one after another! I remember 3 baby cribs crammed into the bedroom, dear Aunt Kay, padding around the house in fluffy pink slippers, rollers in her hair, a cigarette hanging out of her mouth, and polyester fortrel dress slacks two-sizes too small!

She loved BINGO and played every Wednesday night. I babysat for her every Wednesday night for years. She was the most fun and loving Aunt I had.

Sorry but the image of Aunt Kay is terrible lol. I am so pleased she was fun and loving though.

Fancy Christmas ornaments that I would pack away very carefully because they were very fragile.

LOL, Milly, yes, I can only imagine my description of her paints a crazy light of her, but she was really pretty outside of the rollers and cigarette and all.

Gosh, you should see the collection of vintage Christmas ornaments I have! Dating back to the 1950's, through to the 1970's, I have ornaments just like this, and an array of Mercury Glass Baubles in every colour!

I came across an ETSY Seller a few years back that makes the greatest Pyrex Canady Canes you ever did see, so realistic they pass for being real candy ones. Anyhow, I ordered some from her to decorate our Christmas tree, and what an addition they make!

Just got a call from a neighbour that owns the Laundromat in town, she asked if I would be interested in few days work.

Of course I accepted and am just getting ready to ride my bike to her Laundromat!

Just a relaxing kind of day here today, television commercials are coming out in full-swing regarding back to school (so depressing), so here I sit snuggled up in the TV room, looking forward to The Forest Rangers coming on later, along with Marcus Welby M.D., Gilligan's Island, The Flintstones, and The Beachcombers later this evening.

You know summer holidays are fast coming to an end when the back to school television commercials start playing.

Mom and I are going shopping today for back to school clothes!

Love window shopping!
