Feeling a bit sad today , as one of our long term members of this community died today this forum has always been like big family gathering .

It’s strange how you can meet some people on line ,and take a instant liking to them , Marie had a heart of gold , she and her hubby adopted dogs that were often discarded by others , both worked for hours preparing / preserving the best food for their furry family members
even took them along with them fishing in boats

We used to chat about preserving on the old forum quite a bit as well as other topics

Marie will be sadly missed on this forum and won’t be forgotten just like other “ family members “ of this forum that have left us

Its very HOT here all week... I mean HOT like daytime humidex at 43c which is crazy...... Unfortunately we have to go out of town this week for some appointments.. We will cope somehow with A/C almost everywhere.. We have A/C in our house with a window unit in the living room.. This is the second week in a row that we are out of town.... W T F...

We are off to a group lunch today , one of the dances we used to go to closed about 7 years ago ….but as a group we all see each other at other dances, …..but just the group that used to dance at a hall in the southern suburbs attend the luncheon 2- 3 times a year
we are sorta known as the Marion group ( name of the hall we went to)

It was a great catch up with dancing friends ..we chatted so long …..we ended up getting told …we want to clean this area now …..in other words it’s time you left

I’m not usually a fan of Charlie’s ,but the food was delicious ,roast beef that melted in your mouth even Yorkshire puddings
no sign of stir fry’s ( I’m not a fan of half cooked veggies ) and salty sauces ….

The thing is when we go to dances ,we don’t get time to chat …. Cause we are busy dancing
There was about 20 of us ….there , next catch up is in November
