It won’t stop raining here , usually we are just about on bended knees praying for rain ☔️

Hubs keeps a record of rain just as a hobby ..thing and this is the wettest year to date we’ve had since 12 years ago

I’ve been so busy , doing a bit of sewing , shortened a skirt at the waist ( elastic ) as it was to long for me …but I didn’t want to mess the printed design around the bottom edge of the skirt

We are going to a ball in August 💃💃💃
This a screen shot of where I bought it ….Temu …cost me $18 .00. They are really good quality , I’ve got a pink one as well , diffrent pattern

Rain? Here, too! It's been a miserable start to summer so far, cold, overcast, lots of rain.
 
Not long got up and had our porridge ,
Thunder woke me about 3 am and I didn’t really get back to sleep ,and the thunders still happening and it’s now 7.15 am

Thanks @Madge Bumstead , I usually ovoid balls, I’m not a lover of dressing up …… just prefer a regular dance hubby and I were chatting yesterday about dancing it keeps us fairly mobile and steady on our feet , I tuned 80 this year and hubs is 80 early next year so we think ourselves as pretty lucky to not have to use any walking frames / or need any assistance in our home / yard
and can still dance twice a week for 2.5 hours each time

I’ve been lagging behind ……been busy as usual , had quite a bit of hand washing to do , I’ve got pure wool jumpers I wear in winter
nothing flash , they came from Nonib at the time ( it was a upmarket woman’s wear shop , who had some nice clothing I bought for dancing)
being mainly reasonably good quality jersey fabric ….knee length skirts ( cooler in summer ) and no one wears anything fancy now days

They went broke after they started selling trashy fabric clothing ……AND ripping off the public by selling hand sanitiser that had very little of the essential alcohol ingredient in it ….that wasn’t the first of their demise ….they either supplied a poor sanitation product ..or simply didn’t supply at all …..they were fined $630 . 000 so the whole chain of stores under the same umbrella closed …..100’s of them
Millers / Rockmans / ..many more ….under the umbrella of Mosaic brands

Oh I forget to,add they ripped people off at the tune of $35 for a Ltr bottle of the hand sanitiser …and face masks …..never repaid the money
