Morning everyone. I am a new/old member. I think I was known as Joybelle Rowe but I have joined again so I don't upset the apple cart. My dear friends Shirley Martin and Kate Ellery know who I am. Thanks Kate for giving me the link again. I live in Victoria, Australia. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone else.

Love it, Kate!

So many I never heard of, but for years I have used the word/term - "ciggy"! 🚬

Another I know from the past... "knock them up"! :giggle:

Again I was up and played a few games till I got tired .............
Every country has their specific sayings.. There are a few northern Ontario sayings as well that are different..

They are all unfamiliar to me Kate lol.
All used regularly here ..about 1/2 of the small list is used by our neighbour…… @Milly Robertson

My hubby used to say crack the sh**s quite a bit when he was still working …just shows there is differences in other states languages

I may have mentioned it before ,we was in NSW and walked into a shop and said said hello to a lady on the door and she said you’re from South Australia …I can pick up the different states accent's
