Worrying about the future? Lots of challenges, but not what you think

Every day headlines cause us to worry. Our kids don't want to bring kids into the world. We have been afraid of WWIII, Revelation's end of the world...
But:
The idea is to keep moving forward with new ideas and to keep our Faith.

I think that this has always been true, just for different reasons, @Mary Stetler . I remember my mother telling me that my grandmother was sure that the world was going to end when we went from the 1800’s to the 1900’s. She followed a preacher named John Alexander Dowie, and that is apparently what he was preaching.
Back in the 50’s we had the old war with Russia, the bomb shelters all over, and people thought it was the end times. My mom believed that she would be alive to see Jesus come back to earth.

Every year, there are now books and new prophecies about the end times, but we are all still here and the world is still happening. My parents didn’t want to have any children because they lived through two world wars, but after WW2, they decided they would be too old if they didn’t’ have a baby soon, and apparently so did a lit of other parents, becasue we now have all those Baby Boomers.
 
Y2K at the bank was Armageddon and an overnighter with not the most pleasant company for a New Year’s Eve party.

I concentrate on my little world. Can I change something to the better I do my best to do it. Can I not then I will try another approach.
 
Humanity will end in a whimper, not a bang: demographic collapse. The infection agent is Marxism, or as we known it more commonly today, feminism.

It isn't "cost of having and raising children" because the richer a country the worse it is. The only remedies ever proposed come down to "more Marxism." Even though we already know this only accelerates the problem. It has been tried in Europe and the women just get more selfish and birth rates decline further. Even this video wrings its hands and calls for more Marxism.


Universal suffrage means there is no fix - at least until a collapse comes and leaves those remaining to rebuild from the ashes. There is just no way that these people will ever vote against free stuff, ever-increasing privilege for themselves, more reduced accountability, and insane policies driven by emotion.

I think raising awareness so people look into it deeper for themselves is a start, but it is true that is ONLY a start.

I am also looking into local and regional groups acknowledging the issue. These are raising awareness through news releases and staging speaking events, but so far I haven't provided any financial support and I am no longer in physical condition to join in on rallying. Maybe after cataract surgery. My next step is to gather specifics that I can raise with local and State politicians and future candidates for office.

At least I'm putting thought into it. What is anybody else doing at all? It is hard enough to get people off their asses enough here to even watch a video! What does THAT say for our future?

There are too many old ninnies here saying "Let George do it."

I dare to say that I have done enough work wise and pro bono to sit a bit on my derrière for a change. Videos are like statistics - an individual view tailored to appeal.
