What's for supper?

Kroger had a nice chuck roast on their clearance specials, so we got that. I am going to season it and leave it overnight and put it on first thing in the morning. It is pretty large, and will last for several meals, but if we get that ice storm and lose power for days, we will need pre-cooked food, so this will make a nice pot roast and leftovers for sandwiches if needed.

FISH................. Salmon fillets pan fried..
This time I lightly breaded them and sprinkled lemon juice on them as they were cooking..
Frozen mixed veggies.. I was too lazy to make a salad...
Banana..
Pot of tea...

I started the pot roast early this morning, and it is smelling wonderful , and almost ready to eat. We will have leftovers for a while from this probably, so we can make sandwiches if we lose power and can’t cook.
Bobby is going to get briquettes for the bbq in case we need to cook on that, too. They are saying the storm might go further north, and then the worst would miss us, which i am sincerely hoping for.

I made Beef and Macaroni in the Instant Pot. (Kind of a goulash.) Also had garlic toast and a relish dish made from banana peppers and cherry tomatoes that I picked from the dining room Aerogardens.

I put Better Goods chicken pot pie in my small electric oven and guess what - it stopped working. Bought in 9/21/25.This my second Black and Decker oven ,never had this happen before. Something else for me to deal with -
