What's for supper?

Hamburgers on the BBQ.. My homemade burgers using minced chicken, frozen, on the hot grill..
Baked mini potatoes, steamed broccoli
Stewed peaches with heavy cream..
Pot of tea........

I was at the cheese kiosk in the grocery store yesterday and picked up an end cut of brie cheese (they portion out wheels of cheese there.) I've probably had brie less than half a dozen times in my life. So dinner tonight was a salad, brie, an apple, hot Italian bread, and candied almonds...and a Dreamsicle. It's "different." Reminds me of when I worked for a French company and they catered lunch.

We'll see how hungry I get later.

Meatloaf... I made a meatloaf using minced turkey.. I added herbs and spices as well as some ketchup..
There will be enough leftover for another meal as well as a meatloaf sandwich for lunch tomorrow..
Baked mini potatoes, peas...
Ladyfingers..
Pot of tea...

I'm not sure what we are having tonight but tomorrow night we are having hog jowl, black eyed peas, and collards. Piggly Wiggly sells hog jowl that is smoked, cured and sliced just like bacon. It's a bit expensive but, hey! It's only once a year.

I think we will probably have fish grilled on the charcoal grill tonight.

I'm getting back into using my sous vide machine after success with a brisket and a roast beef. I have pork spareribs going right now that will be dinner tonight. (24 hours in the warm water and 40 minutes in the oven to put a crust on them.)

There was an explosion at a French cheese place. All that was left was de Brie.:)
