What's for supper?

I subscribe to Factor prepared foods, receiving five of them a week, and eating them either for dinner or supper. They make for an easy, microwavable meal that generally tastes okay, and sometimes actually good. The portions are perfect. I've tried other similar plans and have found that most of them are perfectly acceptable meals, though they sometimes get fancy when a simpler preparation would have been better. For example, I like green beans simply boiled and strained, with a little butter added, but these meals will generally do weird things with them or add sauces to the beans, when plain green beans with butter would have been better. Overall, though, they're not horribly expensive and the taste pretty good. Today, I had some kind of chicken swimming in a sauce, along with what I think was cauliflower, which I don't generally like, but the sauce improved the taste.

Strangely, Factor's motto or advertising blurb is "Eat like a Pro," and I don't think most people aspire to be professional eaters.

I tried Factor meals and we didn't like them.. They also sent me 10 meals a week which I didn't order, and not the ones we would like.. Way too many meals as we only eat about 4 a week.. They send what they want, not what you want.. I cancelled them and won't order from them again..
To each their own................ Others that I know do order from them............ Just not for everyone...

Had a big lunch so just an egg salad sandwich on white bread ....yes white fluffy bread 😂😂
We talked about this today when I said that a looking at a kitchen table is a five hour road trip:)
Barely out of diapers we had to get from Baltimore to Seattle in a fully loaded GMC Sierra with a shell and arrive July 5. To top it off the medic told me I had herpes which turned out to be poison ivy. Broke, white bread, bologna, banana pepper pickles. Somewhere in Nebraska SO pulled into a truck stop and both of us ordered chicken fried steak. I broke out in tears when this paper thin sizzling monster arrived. The waitress was a saint. She brought me the biggest potatoe I have ever me and a condiment tray with the works. I licked everything clean to say the least. She gave us tokens for the trucker shower. Well, I washed my dress as well.
Crazy memories and unusual events bring them up.
