What's for supper?

Hubs and I are finding we don’t eat as much as we used to, if I dish up a normal meal size for myself I’m only eating about 1/2
I use a entree size plate which is one of those corelle lightweight type

So tonight I made a prawn cocktail~ meal size plate ….the cocktail I make , I found in a magazine prob 10 years ago , and I made it for Christmas that year ….and now every year

To us …it’s simple and delicious 🤤 I got 3/4 kg of locally caught freshly cooked prawns 🦐

Lettuce
Slices of fresh mango ( mango season just starting )
Avocado sliced
Very Thinly sliced red capsicum ( just a little )

Sauce is
1/2 cup egg mayo
I table spoon sweet chilli sauce
I table spoon lemon juice ( think original said lime juice but I don’t like lime juice )
Mixed ..

simple light meal for us …
 
KATE... I agree with you that as we age, we seem to eat less.. We have the same problem by making too much food..

Supper... FISH..
Fillets of haddock lightly breaded and pan fried with some lime juice..
steamed broccoli, tomato wedges, mini baked potatoes..
Jello served with heavy cream..
Pot of tea as usual....
