What is a "Flattened" Person?

Wednesday is our big wild food dinner. I am bringing roast rabbit, milkweed pods and chicken of the woods mushrooms in a sort of casserole with a white wine cream sauce. People who fear and live indoors for the most part never get to experience life outside and it is sad. I must say I don't like mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, black or deer flies...But it would be hard for me to live off the contents of the internet with 'food' brought in daily--never going outside. Reminds me of what happened to the people in the kid movie WALL-E.
I pray we all take a few months and turn off the internet except for the few hours we actually need to handle our affairs--and then go outside and look around and pray.

There have been a few futuristic type of movies put out that display humans as close to being robots without being robots. Everyone wears the same thing, lives in exactly the same type of house or apartment as everyone else does and are pretty much wiped of any characteristics that would normally define a person as being an individual.

Gone are the architectural designs that separated one era from another such as the Gothic era, Greek and Victorian eras. Everything has straight lines with no thought of employing the artful talents of a master artificer’s imagination. All those buildings are gone.

In the movies, food is either in a pill form or some pasty goop that everyone eats but merely as sustenance and nothing more.
And, so far as nature goes, people go from home to school or work and then go back home.
……………………..

I don’t know if the above is what is meant by the “flattened person” but when I look at the homes that are being built, the buildings that house businesses and the large push for a hive type of humanity in the west, the lack of displayed natural art and real craftsmanship etc….I’d say yeah, we’re not just flattening, we’re flat lining.
