It worked well last time …👍👍for us game players , think I’ve almost convinced another good game player to come over and have a giggle or two with us game addicts 😀😀

This will get better once Ken has more categories set up, Lois. Right now, we are operating with just one section for admin and help stuff, and one section (the lounge/coffee bar) which has everything else, and the reminiscences, which is for our old time stories.
Before long, we will have the Lighter Side section, which will house all the games, jokes, and lighthearted stuff; so you will only be inundated with games if you go there.

Right now, we are like someone who just moved into the garage while their house is being remodeled. Everything is in one big room, instead of having its own place.
Once Ken finishes remodeling , the forum will have “rooms” again.

The atheists kept jumping into any religious discussion and disrupting it, so that it could not easily be continued because the atheists kept wanting to throw in evolution and not believing in God, and stuff like that. It invariably took the thread off-topic because people kept being attacked for their beliefs, and would derail every discussion.
It happened every time.
So, finally, Ken made a separate area where the atheists could talk about their beliefs and let Christians discuss ours without interruptions. As you noticed, they didn’t actually want to have those discussions themselves, they wanted to interrupt any discussion about God or the Bible.

Since we are starting out new, why not eliminate the Atheist side all together? If the need arises in the future, we can pray about it.;)

I finish my work week on Thursdays. With my trip south and back, I am behind on my work right now, but I will devote most of Friday, or at least a large part of it, to the forum. Please let me know which things should be done first, as far as setting up categories and forums. One thing I want to do is to either create a text logo to replace the XenForo logo at the top, as I did in 2015 (but can't figure out how to do so now), or arrange to have a graphic logo created, but I also want to flesh out a category or two, and a few more forums, at least. I gather that Games is one of these. What else?
 
Personally I try to keep my nose outta politics and religion , what schooling I had was at a Catholic school and it puts my BP up just thinking about the torchere the brutal nuns handed out , so I’m not likely to jump in and chat about believers and non believers of religion
