What Are You Doing Today?

SO ruined coffee and cinnibun and fur ball in bed by reading the results of my second MRI in two weeks. I will discuss it with him after I digested it. Ortho appointment next week. Anyone know of a well kept VMax?
Need to do take a ten pound batch of chilli I made for a play date to portions and spice it to our taste.

Hope MRI comes back negative doe problems.

Be nice John! June 8 will apparently be a decisive meeting. I always wanted one. Take it the Old Plantation Route from Montgomery, AL to Dallas, TX. Now I am old enough to know better not to do what I want. Ok, within reason:)
Yeh, I'm just teasing. I had 3 brothers. They each had motorcycles (early 60s Triumph Bonneville 650, a classic Harley, and a Honda of some type.) I live in a rural are and have thought of giving it a go, but I know myself too well...overconfidence can be hazardous to one's health. Plus I brain-fart.

I did seriously consider a 3 wheeler, but my understanding is that they can be less stable than 2 wheels.

Today is a mental health day. Had an appointment with my pulmonologist this morning, and tests show my lungs are stable. Still have COPD, etc, but not getting any worse. So, on a whim. I drove over to New Smyrna Beach and just watched the waves come in for a while. I did walk out into the edge of the water a couple of times to get my feet wet with the ocean water, but I'm not stable enough walking/standing to go very far. Ate a small sandwich, drank a coke, and after about an hour, came home. New Smyrna Beach, like Daytona Beach, still allows for cars to drive some sections of the beach. Of course, had to vacuum out the car when I got home, but okay. I'm thinking this will be my last visit to the beach.

Oh, and did I mention that, as of about 12 days ago, I have a shiny new pacemaker? Or that my lady friend of the past 8 years is now in the hospital and most likely will be moved into a long term skilled nursing facility from there?

Vulcan 500, 750 and SO’s 1500 when he was not fast enough. A recliner on the road:)

It sounds like some things are picking up for you. Keep it up Hoot.

Hoot, I'm so glad to hear that you got a stable report on your lungs. Your "last day at the beach" sounds really satisfying. I'm glad you enjoyed the day.

I hope the pacemaker helps you to feel better. Are you noticing any improvements with it? Also, I had been wondering about the status of your lady friend but I didn't want to pry. I'm glad she is getting some treatment, too.

Nothing outside due to weather. Kitchen windows which requires ladders. I actually enjoy house work as there is instant gratification but windows are my punishment for sins I do not know I committed.
Back to beading on SO’s shirt and working on a black on black design for my jeans.
