So far I straitened up bedroom, vacuumed living room ,good thing about vacuum cleaner is it has a handle to lean on.
Got up at 5:00 am, worked on my directory job, then went back to bed at 9:30 am, got up at 1:30 pm, and am back to work on the computer. I was going to take the trash and add another layer of stuff to the compost pile but I think I'll leave it until tomorrow. In between, I had breakfast (potatoes fried with some cut-up bacon, and an egg scrambled into it).

I got my new hedge trimmer charged up so it's time to head outside. Those bushes aren't going to trim themselves.

Jake is working on my van to make it more comfy when we leave the forest.
He is making a little platform for my legs to stretch out in front seat, curtains so people can't see inside, its a 15 passenger window van, took all back seats out yesrs ago.

It's a warm sunny day so I mostly sat outside and soaked it up. Earlier I did laundry.
Played with the gas powered weed whacker. The tube that feeds gas to the engine from the tank broke and needs replacement. A tank assy. is available for $20, but I might be able to rig something up.

I have a pair of cordless Dewalt clippers that work great for large pruning jobs, Just keep any fingers away form the blades or thy can be pruned as wellUgh, I know exactly what you're saying. I have to be the "designated trimmer," or my husband will get out the chainsaw and cut the hedges off at the ground. He doesn't get the "shaping" concept and believes that twigs look fine because "they will grow back".So I use the long hedge clippers that have the "scissor" mechanism. By the time I've done one hedge I'm steps away from urgent care.
I have some electric clippers but I have cut two expensive extension cords in half so I'm not allowed to use those without supervision.

Let's see, what am I doing today? Currently, at 11AM (PT), I'm finishing up doing some laundry, finishing up eating a good breakfast and continue to pack some things for our move. Around 2PM, I'll be tired (didn't get good enough sleep last night) and will sit in my recliner and either play an iPhone computer game that I love and/or watch two tv recordings of Tour of Duty, and, if enough time, watch one of three Gunsmoke movies I've bought from Amazon (The Last Apache, Return To Dodge, The Last Man).
Actually, my 1/2 brother stops doing physical work around 2PM also. Both of us, due to the Lupron Hormone Injection we get.

I love that style of hat--kinda down-under-ee. I have one in purple suade and one in that that straw color for myself. I always had hubby wear a red baseball cap so I could find him in crowds and stores.My husband started to wear this hat a few years ago, when he is outside in the sun doing stuff. I like to never got use to him wearing that type of hat. I think he ended up buying one in every color.

And then MAGA happened...
I had to deal with my internet provider again. They turned me away because I forgot my wallet and I could not id myself. I can understand that. I don't want someone other than me in my email etc. I needed help with my phone. My new phone requires I go through the provider with a code etc and I needed it. I came back and another guy told me he could not help me if I didn't have the device with me. I said it is a landline through your server. How can i bring you the device? He gave me the tech support number. Fortunately the office is across from aldis so not a total waste coming all the way into town again. called tech support and was told by a robot to go online for the information. The hoops I needed to jump through online... I decided to get a different phone. like the one that died. I actually thought that was what I got in the first place...
And then all the usual daily stuff.
