What Are You Doing Today?

That's pretty funny. Reminds me of the insurance commercial where the guy trains people to not be their parents.

I suspect he just likes getting out of the house for a while. I'm certain I'm not the only one who likes a bit of "me time." He used to tend to his mother's place and her finances, so he was over at her house 2 or 3 days a week but since she died he doesn't have anyplace to be.

When that non-profit I was so active in went away, it left a big hole in my life. I had planned on doing that until I could no longer climb a ladder.

I need to sit up and pay attention to these holistic recipes for high BP. ^^^^

I unloaded the horse feed I bought yesterday. Other than getting the horses fed 3X today , I haven’t done anything else.

I’m waiting for High Potential to come on ABC. I love that show.

Curse of Oak Island is on at the same time. I record that and will watch it at a later date.

Connie ,sounds like your a busy lady, what a blessing. I love horses and donkeys.Well actually I love all animals, but do miss the equine.

I'm cleaning bathrooms and doing some light cleaning around the house. My husband has gone fishing this morning with his fishing buddy, and I can usually get a lot of work done when he is not underfoot. 😂 I am enjoying my short term solitude.😉
when he is not underfoot.

Love it ….its like still having kids home at times …but where would we be without them @Krystal Shay

Today we are going to the morning dance … I’m not all that enthusiastic about going to be 100% honest ..we’ve been in the city since last Saturday , and we’ve been quite busy despite it being Easter holidays
We are looking after 3 cats and a dog , feeding / walking ( dog) and I feel like a rest ….

We’ve had doctor appointments ( only flu shot for me ) dentists / I have a yearly ultrasound in my thyroid / blood tests / ….Tuesday and Wednesday . …phew no wonder I slept 10 hours last night ..wow ..I never sleep that long

My husband is having a "deep clean" at the dentist this morning so I'm puttering around, drinking more coffee and checking the plants. I need to go to Lowe's or Home Depot to find some flower bed edging so of course I'll be forced to check out the garden center. I might cruise through Hobby Lobby and see if the Halloween decorations are out already.

My day is already off to a bad start. I was putting a load of towels in the wash, and accidentally poured bleach in the fabric softener dispenser. I don't know if it would have mattered, but I wasted half a roll of paper towels trying to wick that bleach out of the dispenser. I have only had this washing machine 10 or 11 years so I'm still learning how to operate it.

I hate when that happens, and yes it's happened to me lol

I’ve been guilty of putting fabric softer in the washing detergent side …. talking of washing cloths / linen I noticed a pack of cloths washing
capsules in Aldi yesterday so got a pack to try them ,I’ve used them before ….but only when I’m away from home, there’s were $12.99 for a pack of 50

I’ve read the almat brand of washing detergents are made by OMO products which is supposed to be the best washing detergent you can get

Pulled out the spare and mopped up water in the well it lives in. Clearly there is a hatch leak, but I knew that.

Sprayed on some WD-40 afterward. No rust except on the bolt that holds the spare tire. Drizzly today so I won't try using a space heater to dry things out further. Ongoing issue though.

From what I can find there is no TSB for this... for my year. Later model years they have the dealer drill some drain holes and add grommets to them. Might be several possible points of ingress, but I did see a problem with a rivet that accounts for many cases. Very big job to remove the bracket to get access to add sealer to the poorly-seated rivet, not a one-man job unless you want to risk damage.

Appears to be a human failure during manufacture. Cars from different plants appear to be the variable.

What make, model and year is your car, Jacob? Does it have a sun/moon roof?
