is because she is older,and terminal,as there is not much they can do anymore. Plus always crowded according to her.
She has ,short version, a calcified aorta since birth.Since age of three in and out of hospitals.
They go in and clean it out, but is just comes back. At early age a doctors mistake made her have a stroke which complicated things even more.When doctor told her last year the time is growing nearer, I asked her how would I know (she has no one really) when she was gone. She said, because its in my Will my atty or someone is to notify you, I lost it.

About 25 years ago, my son sent me a CD titled "Open Pipe Symphony", which I am listening to "as we speak". Since I live alone, I have it cranked up about as loud as it will go.

It was recorded in France in 1997. No music, just the sound of high performance race cars going down the track. The first one is about 4 minutes of a 3.5 1 Ferrari V-12 F1 Testing At Paul Ricard Circuit. #7 is a Bugatti, 1928 Type 35. A total of 17 tracks and over an hour long.

My father raced on local Ohio dirt tracks in the late 40s and early 50s. Nothing as fancy as these cars. And my son, in the late 80s built his own stock car and raced on a dirt track in Texas. They are both gone now, and somehow listening to this "symphony" makes me feel still connected to them.

Nothing planned today other than walk and my latest amazing Poshmark find arriving. I'll post about it on latest purchases thread.

Vision bad today. I have no idea why other than my TN is acting up making below and around my eye feel numb.

I am back to eating my morning banana and coffee ice cream. Going off bananas didn't help lower my potassium level any. It did give my a free pass to being messy again, leading to a high TP usage. It is a win win with bananas causing near constipation, but the coffee ice cream containing anti freeze (polypropylene glycol) thus thwarting any constipation. It is a great combo for regulation without legislation.

I'm sorry I just read about your Medical issues that you're having. You're in my thoughts and prayers, I wasn't aware this is round three for you. Stay positive. You got this.

Pretty dull day around here, which is OK. I've been repotting a few plants on the patio and still on the hunt for a new bird bath.

Thought about going to Sam's Club but I decided I didn't feel like walking for miles through their parking lot and warehouse. I renewed our membership online for a "deal" of $25 a year since we are getting a brand new Sam's that's only about 5 miles from here. So we won't have to drive in crazy traffic to get to the new store when it opens.

Is your doctor concerned about it, Tony? Mine had me stop taking my "hair and nails" vitamins and changed my BP meds, and told me to cut back on higher-potassium foods like bananas and tomatoes. She also referred me to a kidney specialist but I'm not going to bother with that.

She hasn't said anything but I have another appointment for blood test and a visit with her in 2 weeks if it stays High I'm sure she'll address it.

Thanks Tony. Doing better now, with the doc saying surgery should get it all. I have been feeling weaker and the doc says that is because my system is fighting the cancer. Hopefully when the cancer is cut out, I will reclaim some energy.

Not high enough to be of any concern to kidneys, but abnormal and something to keep monitoring. Every now and then at night, my big toe hurts and possibility from a gout flareup, but not a big enough problem to add any meds. The kidney doc said no to adding potassium supplements to help with muscle cramps.

Earlier today I was looking at my FB "memories" (yes I do that every day) and was reminded that it was 72 years ago today that I lost my father. He (and his brother) had a 1948 PA-15 Piper Vagabond, but on this day Dad was with a friend in a 1942 Aeronca, which crashed shortly after takeoff from the little air strip owned by a local farmer. Dad's friend was in the front seat, and both were killed on impact. I was just 8 years old, and Dad was 31. Still miss him.
