I haven't spoken to my nephew for several years. My sister & I were decorating the dining room for Thanksgiving. We both got colds - not Covid; we both tested negative. My nephew blamed me for giving his mother my cold.Ya its very scary isnt it??
Scary so many blindly fell for it and cut us down because we didnt! (I lost my best friends because I woudnt take that crap.. In still suffering over thier loss

For people with serious illnesses already & not in good health, Covid can kill - much like the Flu or any other virus. That's a whole different issue that is often confused with the real issue, which is the ineffectiveness of the Covid vaccine.
Friends are one thing, but family is another. Grandparents weren't allowed to see their grandchildren because they hadn't been vaccinated, and their own son or daughter was afraid of exposing their children to the unvaccinated. They are still family, so some semblance of a relationship would still be important, but there has to be a break there. None of my close friends were caught up in Fauci's lies, but there are acquaintances whom I am no longer interested in seeing because they acted so stupidly during the COVID fiasco.
The Covid fiasco brought out the need & opportunity for the controllers & authority addicts to act out & tell others what to do. A very bad idea when people were already on edge.
Although he's not the type to admit it or apologize, I'm sure he feels rather stupid because everyone in his entire vaccinated family got Covid & some had to be hospitalized. I also got Covid, which was a three-day chest cold, followed by four days of coughing up....stuff. Nothing I would get a vaccine for; especially one of questionable effectiveness or safety.

That's pretty nasty. I always wore a mask & kept my nose & mouth covered wherever it was required, ever though I considered it useless. In CA, we couldn't walk into any store or office without it. Besides, it's not worth arguing with store employees or security personnel, anyway.
Reminded me of one really amusing TV commercial for an airline. They really knew how to play to people's fears to get more paying passengers.
At our only supermarket, they were initially rigid in enforcing the mask mandate. Then, due to complaints and people going to the next town over, where they weren't so rigid, I was told by a supervisor that corporate told them that it wasn't their responsibility to enforce the mandate, as long as they put the signs up and had masks available for those who wanted them. Later during the fiasco, they started requiring masks in order to enter again, but any mask would work. I would sometimes go in wearing mosquito netting, while some others wore Halloween masks, and these would work, given that the supermarket employees didn't want to harass anyone, and that would give them plausible deniability. Further north in Maine, very few stores required it, even of employees. Our governor was a fanatic on the subject, but I don't think she really thought of anything north of Bangor as being relevant to her.

Hopefully, we don't all have to understand or appreciate the science behind hunting regulations to accept that we need a license to hunt and that there are various regulations that come with it, whether we agree with them or not. So, as pertaining to those who chose to do as they were told, that's even more understandable, although there is an extra bit of respect for those who decided to test the boundaries.
