I am watching far less Netflix than I used to. I wish they'd label foreign movies by language, because I got tired of clicking on a movie that looked like it might be good, only to find it was in a language I couldn't deal with. Why are the title and blurb in English when the movie isn't?

I moved on from Netflix last year and haven't missed it at all. I put that fee onto the Disney+ channel since I'm a Marvel and Star War fan. :giggle:
 
I DVR and watched an old "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" episode last night.
Titled Attack! S4E23
This episode aired in 1968, I found it very interesting that they had extraterrestrial Aliens in it that flew in UFO's that were transmedium crafts. I also found it interesting that the Aliens were living under the sea. I thought those two concepts were ahead of their time in 1968.

The Alians were here to conquer the earth. In one scene looks like they use a nuclear weapon (mushroom cloud) to wipe out an entire US Navy Armada. Of course the crew of The Seaview comes to save the day. Starring Richard basehart.

It was corny but enjoyable for me, it brought back memories
 
Just started to watch the series Lucky on apple tv. It is a crime thriller. I have watched the first 2 episodes so far; meh. The main character is Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy, who was in series the Queens's Gambit. It also has Annette Bening and Timothy Olyphant in the show. There are only 7 episodes so I will probably watch the rest.
 
Watching Lessons In Chemistry. It is a miniseries and it has 8 episodes. I like it! (y)(y)

I've just started watching The Boroughs, a Netflix science fiction series about a senior citizen community in the New Mexico desert. I can't say much about it yet because I've just started watching it, but I think I'll like it.
 
Yesterday I watched 'The Mummy' starring Tom Cruise (2017). It was a mixture of Raiders of the Lost Ark, (Harrison Ford) Tomb Raider, (Angeline Jolie), and National Treasure (Nicholas Cage). I must admit that he really played the part. 100 percent adventurous, subtle mood of romantic entanglement, and action. Impressive special effects and stunts which Cruise probably did a lot of them himself.

I enjoyed the movie. Good family entertainment even if you don't sit through the entire movie.
