Turning Point USA is having a patriotic alternate halftime show

Apparently there has been a rebellion against the halftime show at the Super Bowl because Roger Goodell has hired a Woke artist who made an anti-ICE rant at the latest Grammy Awards show. He is apparently not a citizen but called himself an American who is standing against ICE. The Patriotic Halftime Show is headlined by Kid Rock, but is joined by quite a number of country music artists and others. Even a number of ex-NFL players say they will be watching the TPUSA show rather than the Woke stuff.
 
The NFL is getting a lot of flak for this, it appears a lot of the football fans don’t like woke entertainment, and especially anti-American rhetoric. Even the owner of the Patriots was asking last night if they could change the performers because so many people are not going to watch the whole Super Bowl, just because of this.
Some people are going to watch the game, but not the halftime entertainment, and some are not even watching the game and said they will boycott any and all advertisers that support the woke halftime entertainers.

People who don’t watch football might watch the Patriot show. I am not interested in sports at all, and don’t care for Kid Rock’s singing, so I won’t be watching any of it. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. The halftime show has been getting more woke each year, from what i have read , so maybe this will be a turning point for football entertainment, too.
 
From 1790 to 1961, neither could residents of the District of Columbia. Were they also not "real citizens" during that time?

Thank you!! That's exactly my thought. I mean, as soon as Charlie was shot she was all over the TV with those crocodile tears and "making statements", rambling on for hours. Who does that?? I realize that people show grief in different ways, but she gave me an ick.

It is coming out now that Charlie Kirk took Erika out of his will because she was cheating on him. So perhaps there is a lot more to this story than we have been hearing. Probably, she still has control of TPUSA since she was a co-owner, but whatever belonged to Charlie personally, she did not get. She always seemed fake to me , too; and the stories around Charlie’s death have been pretty garbled as to how he was actually killed and by whom. So far, the TPUSA people seem to be fine with her as the head, whether she is in the will or not.

I now read that it will be a totally Spanish half time show. The NFL is marketing to Latin America, and is apparently abandoning the English-speaking American audience. They are turning away from fans who have been American football fans for generations. A move toward the New World Order. Fortunately the UFL will be starting soon.

From Snopes: "The rumor about Erika Kirk being cut out of Charlie Kirk's will originated with "Bulls Nose News" — a social media account that describes its output as being humorous or satirical in nature. Its bio states: "Satire/Parody." The video's caption also included the hashtag #satire.
 
I never watch football at all so I couldn't care less. My gripe is with the NFL and their "Forever Woke" bullshit. I think they should have high school marching bands at halftime instead of half-dressed rappers, but I guess I'm not their target audience.

For the past few years since The Kneeling my hubby has only watched college games, but this year he watched the NFL playoffs when it looked like the Texans might win. I don't know if he will watch the Superbowl or not, but I can say with certainty he will not watch "Bad Bunny."
