Tap water. We are not connected to town water where we live so we have water tanks that catches the rainwater. It is then filtered. No chemicals are added to it.

I cannot lie, I miss my old-fashioned top-loader washing machine. It was over 40 years old and finally met its end, and so I bought into all of the hype regarding today's modern front-loading washing machines, so we bought a set. Sure, I'm happy with the set but miss my old washing machine something awful.

Regular laundry detergent when you used to wash nappies, or special nappy detergent?

Soaked in Napisan in a nappy bucket and then used normal detergent in the washing machine.
