Songs That Bring Back Fond Childhood Memories

The first "45" record I remember my parents having was a song called "Sadie's Shawl". It was a really "peppy" song and we'd wrap ourselves in old curtains, shawls, beads, etc. and dance around to it. I must have been about 9 at the time and my sister was 4. We had quite an act worked out. My grandparents were always properly appreciative of the show, even after seeing it 50 times...LOL.

Mary, my 10 yr old friend and I did the same thing, put on our corny little show singing, ' Cotton Feilds Back Home ', Look, look, My Heart is An Open Book'.We thew cotton balls around the room, then picked them up as we sang.
