Shopping--What did you buy?

Printer ink, a pair of pants, and a sample ring of multiple shutter colors.

Our old vinyl shutters are pretty old and the squirrels have ate the heck out of our shutters over the years. Also, we want to match the shutters as close as we can to our new roof and to the brick on the front of our house.

Bobby is making a place for the exercise equipment, in its own area as part of his garage, and moving the large equipment devices to there. In the bedroom , there would be room for me to have a Gazelle glider again. So here is what i have to decide.
The actual Gazelle sells for over $500 on Amazon, and the generic ones are around the $100-$200 vicinity. I can spend up to $150 with my Devoted Health Wellness Bucks and get one of the generic ones that way.
However, on Marketplace, there are some used Gazells for under $50, which I would have to spend myself, but I would have the actual one, not the generic.
I am looking at the options and working on making a decision which one I want to do.

I am a bit leery when it comes to used exercise equipment. Been there.

I would certainly consider the used ones if they were available close by. Chances are they have not been used very much and have ended up as a dust collector that someone wants out of the way. Of course if the knockoffs on Amazon have good reviews they would probably work as well as the original.

I still have one called the Instride Walker from the early 2000's or so and it's still working fine. It was from before the Tony Little Gazelle.

I bought a generic 'Total Gym' years ago like Chuck Norris sold on TV. Daughter wore it out. So I got a used one in Markesan.( a ways away) A $900 machine for $60 bucks. I asked the seller why and they said they were moving. I still have it and it is much better than the generic original version. Came with lots of attachments too.

I stopped by a garage sale this morning and bought a chicken purse for $2. Did I need a chicken purse? Of course not. Did I want a chicken purse? Absolutely. I didn't know how much I have longed for a chicken purse until I saw it and it was love at first sight.

For now, it's going up on the top of the kitchen cabinets with my other chicken thingys. I will find an occasion to use it one of these days.

I have a weakness for strange purses. I have an armadillo purse, made from a real rolled-up armadillo. I used to have a purse made from a Bufo toad and a couple of alligator purses, one with an baby alligator on the front. I used those purses to keep my teenaged daughter in line. "Are you wearing THAT?" "Yes, I'm wearing THAT, Mottthhhherrrr!" "OK, let me get my armadillo/Bufo toad/alligator purse and we'll be ready to go." "ALLRIGHTTT, what do you want me to wear?" Worked every time. If she was going to embarrass me by looking like a demented streetwalking clown, then I was going to embarrass her back with one of my dead-animal purses.

Pictures please!
My Mandarina Duck Herra died of old age. The leather cracked. How SO found a replacement in Italy he never told me. With morning coffee he plunks a box on the bed. I get through all the tape and customs stickers and start bawling. It is dark brown! Ebony! A couple of weeks later the correct one arrived. Hardware is not hand casted aluminum any more but it is the classy sleep small purse that goes from Walmart to ball room. Why did they eliminate that complete line?
