Shopping--What did you buy?

My husband bought a fishing reel from Japan. It took 10 days to get here. There were no custom fees or tariffs. He received it today and inside was a little Origami. I read somewhere that Japan is big on paper origamis. The origami can have different meanings depending on the shape. In this case, it was respect and appreciation for the customer. My husband has bought reels from this company in Japan before because he said the quality is excellent.

I don’t know anything about the reel but I thought the paper origami was cool. And I wasn’t sure if this post was to go in the tools, shopping, or fishing section.
 
I found these at Walmart. I keep these next to my bed in case of low blood sugar. They have 6 gms sugar each (about 1.5 teaspoons).
They're addicting & so good, I sometimes hope for a low. :)

I have been wearing SAS shoes and sandals for 35 years.

I just ordered a new pair of these USA SAS Swerves. So comfy!
I wear them year around except for long walks. I wear socks
with them in the winter.

longest lasting walking shoe ever, at least for me. New Balance 990.
Not all 990 are USA made, so if price is low, be cautious.

yes, a first for me, elastic on waist. I need more waist flex for
all the old age sitting I do these days.

These were just ordered today. New but USA made by Michael Lauren.
Yep, all elastic waist with generous stretch, very comfy, yet a nice look
for an old lady. I love the front slant pockets. I have a pair of them in black
I got recently.

I ordered some prebiotic of a type that's hard to find (GOS.) The supplement I've taken for the past several years has been discontinued.

I also ordered a soldering station I've had my eye on for a while. You can power it from a laptop power supply or it can be used anywhere by attaching a power tool battery,

Survey pin locator and a box of colored felt pens shipped to Mumsy for her daily cross word puzzles. She is back on her hobby horse “fat people” so no chocolate or nuts.
