inserts for my new walking shoes.
So tue! I likie Shetchers although ordering them online is going to happn again. There are websites and videos that show different ways to lace shoes to help with top-of-foot pain.
Some suggest lacing them from the outside in.
Some recommend lacing them through every-other-set of eyelets.
Some recommend skipping lacing altogether over the sore part of the foot.
I've had some shoes cause pain in the tops of my feet, but that's just because of how the shoes were designed. This is why I hate buying shoes and clothes over the internet. I don't know how people do it. I don't have the patience to process returns until I find something I like.
I tried those, along with doing a triple or quadruple twist before the loops (which helped a little), but either they aren't tied tight enough to be useful or they hurt. There are websites and videos that show different ways to lace shoes to help with top-of-foot pain.
That sucks. It's not as though you can avoid wearing shoes or walking.I tried those, along with doing a triple or quadruple twist before the loops (which helped a little), but either they aren't tied tight enough to be useful or they hurt.
I love Orthofeet brand shoes & sandals. They already come with quality padded insoles and spacers to fine-tune fit.Maybe you need some new insoles. The insoles that come with most shoes have no support anymore! I replace my insoles as soon as I get a new pair of shoes or boots. My husband likes Superfeet insoles, and I like Treadlabs. Treadlabs is more like a custom orthotic.
Once you find them please buy several pairs if you can. With pain on the top of your foot you may not need wide but 1/2 size bigger. Have you discussed this with your orthopedic?I think it's just a matter of finding the right ones.
I just avoid lace-up shoes, which is unfortunate because I have some nice sneakers that don't get worn. I mostly wear loafers or sandals.I think it's just a matter of finding the right ones.
I don't wear them around the house; for that, I have flip-flops and a pair of slip-ons. But, for walking, particularly in the woods, I need something that isn't going to slip off as easily as it slips on.I just avoid lace-up shoes, which is unfortunate because I have some nice sneakers that don't get worn. Beth, not really. While the other ladies in this forum are also very nice, you, Yvonne and Faye are really nice to us.New motor for the swimming pool pump. Goodbye $600. The current motor is starting to whine pretty loud so I thought I'd get the jump on it before it totally dies and we get mauled at the pool store for 2X the cost. @Cody Fousnough ... you'd really hate living next door to me right now.![]()

I like those, and they have functional front pockets too. I hate it when they don't put pockets on elastic waist pants. To take the thread back to topic, I finally broke down and ordered some elastic waist band denim pants. I found these expensive USA made ones, but 1/3 the original price on Poshmark. I should have them in a week. USPS is slower that a 3 legged turtle these days. I still have lots of USA made Levi jeans, but none are elastic waist that is great for lounging around the house, which is what I do for many hours a day.

I agree! I also like the slant pockets being easier to get hands in. I don't need back pockets anymore and find denim pants are more comfy for sitting, without them. I also like the fuller straight leg. My Oncology nurse wears these and said they were super soft and comfy, and they looked great on her. Of course she is young and lean and every old mans dream. I have heard there are old men that beg their PCP for a referral, so she can check their prostate.I like those, and they have functional front pockets too.
