No, we missed it almost completely, @Marie Miller . It hit the northern east and west corners of the state, and missed the little area in HUntsville where we live. It has been cold here, tried to snow, get some black ice, and that is about it for us, for which I am grateful. The pictures from other areas have been terrible with the ice storms and losing power, but our power didn’t even blink at all.

Good to hear. We still have friends in some parts of Alabama and everyone is ok.

It looks like this newest storm that is hitting the East Coast is even more severe than the one that just went through last week. They are talking blizzard style winds and snow, and it is hitting a large part of the east coast states.
It looks like @John Brunner is going to be hit with this, so adding prayers for his safety, and I am glad that he said he was getting in more wood in case he lost power. It is looking like that is probably happening.

Isn't Shirley in that area, too? Looks like it's a bit south of Tony, unless it's going to move north.
Yes ! I am not sure where in North Carolina she is, but she is probably right in the middle of this mess. Prayers for Shirley Martin, too. And Nancy Hart is in Georgia, so she is probably being affected by the storm as well.
That's INSANE!!! I had no idea. I've not watched network news in a long time. That video says they have 12" in the Outer Banks NC!!!!! Holy poop.
We were forecast for up to 2" today, but that was changed a few days ago to 0". I didn't realize it was from another major storm. I just looked at local radar...there are flurries just 40 miles south of me, and It's hitting pretty hard maybe 150 miles southeast of here. Those poor suckers on the Virginia coast are less prepared for this stuff than we are. I hope theirs stuff from last week melted before this second barrage.
