I don't know where this goes, but I will stick it here and others can relocate it if the deem it to be better elsewhere. Chinese researchers are working with yet another coronavirus. What they are doing is precisely the same thing that was done to develop the Covid-19 virus that we all remember. Covid was intentionally developed (I believe) and deliberately made more pathogenic using gain of function. This virus was found to have supposedly mutated on its own to become 100% lethal without gain of function assistance, and was cloned (grown and multiplied) in order to study it. One American researcher expressed concern, as viral research in China is apparently done in Level-2 laboratories, which is the same level as many community hospital labs. Viral research in the U.S. is generally done in Level-4 laboratories to prevent escape. Scary stuff, but it is being handled in a similar way to the Covid virus which leaked (I believe) from a lab in China.
It is said among the "conspiracy folks" like me that China is working to develop DNA-targeted viruses that will attack only those with specific genetic profiles, and China has been gathering American DNA (this part is known, but the purpose is not).
