"School Bus", / "Camper", thread?

Our daughter Theresa, washes plastic bags and reuses them. I just use plastic quarts and gallons for my animal after we've use one.
I will occasionally rinse out a plastic baggie and reuse it, but I'm not hanging them on a clothes line!! :D (And the strange thing about my aunt was that she and my uncle were wealthy.)

I don't go that far, but I save the rubber bands from produce, and keep the thick twist-tie enclosures from coffee bags. I've just started discarding those because I have more than I can use...but I hate throwing stuff away. If plastic bags were more expensive, I might consider washing them, but doing so probably consumes more resources than it saves.

I grew up in a family of 8 and my dad managed retail stores. As an adult, I got divorced 3 months after buying a house and was only making $5/hour. You're darn right I don't waste stuff...except maybe time. ;)
