Thanks to both John and Beth for your answers. I've spent a lot more time on WordPress forums but I'll get used to this one.

I haven't been here for a few days due to a serious fall I had. Mending slowly.

I pray you'll be feeling better soon, Lois. It takes longer for me to heal from things too.

I could have told you that the wild partying on your birthday is not a good idea anymore, @Lois Winters ; but I hope it was at least a lot of fun !
(Take care and get better soon, and adding my prayers for pain relief, rapid healing, and God’s Blessings as you recover. )

Sorry to hear about your fall, Lois. The landing hurts so much more once we get some age on us.

Hope you do as you need to heal. Did you fall in your home? Or out shoveling snow?;)

I tripped over the dog's bed in my bedroom at night, wound up in bed with her, and hit my rib cage on the heating unit.

It will take about 6 weeks to heal fully. Thankfully, I have the best physical therapist ever. He is gentle and knows just how to handle cases like this. Not much can be done except take it easy and rest whenever I can. Lots of soft tissue bruising in the kidney area as well. Falling into the dog's bed was a soft landing, but the angle at which my body was moving propelled me into my cantilevered heating unit with great force. That did it.

Absolutely. 2 x-rays told the story.

I have been looking and looking and I think that @Thomas Stillhere is still alive, because i can find birth, marriage, divorce records for him, but nothing for a death notice.
He might have become so ill that he is in a nursing home somewhere and unable to communicate with us on the forum. Now that I know who to look for, I will keep checking and report if I find something.
What puzzles me is that his info is on places like Ancestry and My heritage, but he has no date of death, just the other records.

He referenced a Facebook page for veterans who served in Vietnam but I can't remember what it is. I believe he was active there but I don't know how to find it. I am very concerned about Thomas.

I looked through all of those posts and pictures, and finally found his actual name from his Flickr page, and after that, searched in ancestry and other similar places. they show his other records, but no death records. I didn’t think that put that kind of info on Ancestry unless a person had died (marriage, divorce, etc).
@John Brunner is going to see what we can find and maybe we can at least know what became of Thomas. My guess is that he ended up like Hal in a nursing home somewhere and can no longer get online to communicate; but still researching.
