People only like democracy when they are in the majority, as democracy is the dictatorship of the majority. Minorities tend to be ignored in a democracy. That is why the Founders chose to move forward with a republic with many protections built in to protect minorities.

Donavan McKinney appears to have gotten by due to a normal-appearing name and low-information voters.

The demographic going for the Islamo-Communists with full intention are overwhelmingly white college-educated females and Muslims. It certainly was not the poorest or urban blacks, those counties voted for the somewhat more centrist opposition.

This is feminism, the anti-natal childish philosophy and the camel's nose of Marxism. As they say in Norway "the State is all the husband I need."

Photo ID for Federal elections failed int eh Senate last night, perhaps due to John Thune. Nothing has passed the Senate that was not part of reconciliation while Republicans have the majority for decades and the last bill of significance was Obamacare when the Democrats had a 60-vote majority. Either they should reinstate the "Talking Filibuster" or do away with it completely as the Democrats intend should they gain power. The U.S, Senate appears to be completely paralyzed.
