Our home grown golden delicious apples batch number one ….second batch in dryer right now

This is approx 4 kg of apples.
We pet them into zip lock lunch bags and freeze them then they ensure they stay fresh ..no preservatives
We have dried them on trays outside but these are dried in my ezi dri electric machine

I dry our organic Wolf River apples. It gives bushels. What we don't dry we make into apple sauce. Last year it had NO apples. I hope it comes back this year but we have plenty from previous years.
Something comforting being able to produce food to share.

I freeze some that I peel / quarter, and dip in lemon juice / water mix so they don’t brown …..and that way I’ve got them to stew in the upcoming winter months
I’d previously canned some but I like the freezer method better just get out what I need and store to make a pie or Aplle crumble with custard
