Pet Peeves

If you rely on AI for answers, you may find out all kinds of other stuff. Is the Border Patrol military also? They don't have boats but they have guns and stuff. I still believe the Coast Guard's main mission is not to blow stuff up and kill people. If you so believe, then what can I say? I am guessing you were a Coastie of are somehow associated with them, right?
Lordy Don, just saw this..no neither. I only use AI t get some idea about things. I merely just saying this was AI version. I had always heard they were military.

Please mind your offspring!
Fairly untended female on the phone in the grocery store with three young ones today. 6, 7, 8 or so of an age that they comprehend speech. Running, tearing stuff out of the shelves then playing hide and seek in the cooler section inside the coolers. I was tempted to hold a door closed. Manager read my mind and quietly asked me not to do it. Not much different in the parking lot.

People-hubby included - who get things put and never put back. ;)
Forgetting to push shower thing down when finished
My hubby had a bad habit of opening kitchen cabinet doors and not closing them. Sometimes when I got home from work almost every cabinet door in the kitchen was open. I asked him a few times to close them but then I would just close them myself.

I once had a boss whose wife had that problem. It was so bad that she once didn't close the car door as she was backing out and removed the car door on the side of the garage door. I don't know if she ever learned. Their cabinet doors were always open.

All so called ' all you can eat ' contests. Nauseating see anyone trying to down 36 hot dogs. or a 9lb hamburger !
Barf:sick:
Yay, America. Not only do we have processed food of marginal quality, we cram more of it into our mouths faster than anyone else.

Your guess of 36 hot dogs was pretty close, Hedi. The female winner of this year's Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest (appropriately held on the 4th of July) was Miki Sudo, the featherweight daughter of a European mother and a Japanese father. She ate 38.75 hot dogs in that contest. Her record is 51 hot dogs. She has been #1 every year going back to 2014, excluding the year she skipped (2021) when she was pregnant.

Her Wiki page is a long list of other eating contests she has competed in (coming in 1st in several, including a Kimchi eating contest.)

Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.
