Pet Peeves

People who take more than 5 minutes placing an order at a fast-food drive-thru window. I was behind a woman today who I thought might have been doing a job interview at the drive-thru window. There's not that much stuff on a McDonald's menu for that amount of time, and if you were going to put any thought into what you were eating, you wouldn't be at McDonald's anyhow.

Reminds me of a John Penette comedy set about someone holding everyone up whilst looking at the menu at KFC.
“ITS CHICKEN ! ALL THEY HAVE IS CHICKEN. GET TO END OF THE LINE”!!!

A reason not to eat fast food. After all it is for slow people.

My wife has someone come by to clean once a week, although we have two cleaning robots, one of which also mops, and it's not like we don't have brooms and cleaning supplies. While I don't quite understand the need, that's not my peeve.

The woman who comes by constantly closes our sliding door all the way. We have a sliding barn-type door on our enclosed porch, and we leave it open about a foot because I feed some outside cats in the porch, and so that UPS delivery people can be reminded that it's a sliding door. She goes out repeatedly throughout the time she's here cleaning to smoke or something, and every time, she closes the door all the way.

It's always open a foot or so when she arrives, I've told her a few times that we leave it partway open, and I am constantly getting up to open it, yet she persists in closing it all the way, and it's annoying.

Habits are hard to break. A post it note at eye level should fix this.
