Neighbor Reports Ghost Sighting

I was standing outside yesterday, talking to the next-door neighbor. A guy from down the block walks up, waving his arms and looking a bit wild-eyed. He wanted to show us a "ghost" on his Ring camera video and I must admit, it was kind of weird.

Looked like a kid about 10-12 years old standing in his driveway around 2 a.m. One minute he was there and then... he wasn't. Oddly, the guy who lives next door to him also had the "ghost boy" on a security camera. On his video, the "ghost boy" seems kind of transparent and you could see through him as he walked out of camera range.

Strange goings-on in the 'hood.

Having had a few weird encounters myself, I'm not sure there isn't something going on that we don't understand, but I'm not sold on the idea of ghosts either.

You certainly may be right. But we have had a deceased young girl appear several times. to several people, in a private cemetery down the road, long before the internet.

We live on the San Jacinto river and our cul-de-sac is directly across from the boat ramp. Several years ago a young boy was killed in a freak accident at the entrance to the ramp. I remember vividly the Life Flight helicopter landing in the middle of our block, and the valiant effort the EMS people made to save that boy.

They might be right. The subconscious mind can do strange things. My dad and several of his cousins told stories of an old family house in Hill Country, where they saw apparitions they suspected might be ones that had died there. I believe that when people die they leave energy behind that our subconscious mind can tune in. What is interesting is these ghost always look like they did when they die.

I wonder what it would be like to see my father and him being 10 years younger than me. That is a spooky thought!

Yes, AI can program good apparitions, I bet. But the ones seen before internet ...

Also Texas is famous for ghost sightings. Visitors to the Alamo still report seeing strange things and feeling sudden cold spots.

I don't doubt that Beth's neighborhood ghost, maybe the energy apparition of the boy that died in the area, but it is also possible that it is someone playing with technology. The infrared used in security cameras night vision, senses heat. It is believed, by some, that apparitions are just energy left by the dead that under right conditions, create heat patterns that become visible to the living. The heat patterns they create are exactly the way they were before dying. The challenge for the future will be separating the real from the fake. I suspect that Ghost Busters will become a thing.

Spirits that are just walking about have been taken by an un-natural mean and they are looking for help for closure...

If this boy is seen about on cameras and stuff,the poor thing was probably killed by someone or accidently was killed in an un-natural way and is now looking for someone to help guide him to the light..
