Why is it that this camera is so much steadier and in focus, than that of the 'body-cameras'- worn by the police?
Because the cat works in the private sector.

I've seen videos of guys cradling owls upside down as though the owls are babies.
I've posted this pic before of a barred owl that the previous day flew over to me and landed on my deck just a couple of feet in front of me and looking up, trying to figure out what the heck I am. I took the pic through the patio door when he returned the next day.
It's fascinating how comfortable they are around humans...at least, the juveniles are. The adult owls are a little more suspicious but still not spooked:
