I hate all the electronic billing, reporting, payments...
I got an email about hubby's ER bill--two of them actually. Or a least that is what I assumed. Back when I got paper bills it they told who the doctor was and what the bills were for. These bills just had amounts to pay and when I went to details, they just told what I had paid this year. The bills added up to $2800 and the insurance said I had only to pay $3700 out of pocket. But they listed we had only paid $279 this year. I could call with questions but who would I be calling. The hospital does not communicate that well with insurance, apparently.
After two months of treatment earlier this year for hubby's severe infections after operation, I am glad I did not have to pay for that but I never even got info on that or bills--yet.
