Basically the medical community changed the goal posts. They lowered the long held blood pressure numbers and cholesterol guidelines when new drugs were made available...

Thanks. I got bit by that when A1C thresholds got lowered. Suddenly I was "pre-diabetic." I told my doctor I was also "pre-dead."

I had to take hubby to emergency room a couple of days ago for an extreme bloody nose. (No, I didn't cause it.) I picked him up after treatment and asked if they had given him anything considering his recent anemia diagnosis.
Nope. So I put together a plan and got some supplements and chicken liver for dinner. Straight iron supplements is a bad idea.
Then a woman called for a 'follow up'.
YOU?? set up a plan. I said, Yes, I do it all the time.
No answer but to say if issues arise, call our Doctor.
Our doctor did not offer suggestions with the diagnosis.
I find that they are too eager if drug companies push stuff and not very interested otherwise.
