Boy, moving an be a real challenging time for little ones. They get so attached to a home, a neighbourhood, kids around the block, then suddenly just like that they find themselves in a new and unfamiliar place, a whole new environment, and even more challenging comes by way of switching schools.

It's a boom, Jacqueline! 
It's 1984, two neighbours of ours, Debbie and Barb are both pregnant, and I'm pregnant with baby #2, due in February (6 months from now)!
I'll have two in diapers! Thank heavens for economical cloth diapers! Money has been tight with only hubby working, so tightening the strings on the household budget is important, but I wouldn't have it any other way, being able to stay at home fulltime as a mom is worth the pinch.
I currently have 5 dozen cloth diapers but am looking to add an extra dozen to raise the total number of diapers to 72, plenty to handle two in diapers. In addition to the extra dozen diapers I'm looking at adding to the layette, I'll pick up a dozen pairs of newborn/infant sized rubber pants, and that will provide me with all the didies and waterproofs needed to diaper both babies without me having to worry over being tied to the washing machine daily.

Jacqueline, I drove by your house the other day and saw rubber pants on your clothesline. Last time we spoke you were using Pampers with rubber pants, so I just had to reach out to you today to let you know about the sales Zellers and Kmart have on.
Zellers has both plain old-fashioned white, as well as variety pack baby rubber pants on sale this week!
Kmart also has baby rubber pants on sale! Gerber 3-pack rubber pants - $1.07!

Wish we lived closer, Milly, would be a treat to sit down together over a cup of tea!

1980’s I was raising my children , I even polished their black leather school shoes everyday….made sure shirts were tucked in …..OMG …I always combed their hair easy day
to my idea of neat and tidy presentation
