It's the 1980's, what are you doing?

We have invited BIL, SIL and our three nieces over for tea. The five children love a good catchup. The kids have their own special meal then it is off to bed with them. Then it is the adult's time to catch up and kick back.

Such a life changing progression, going from playing in a fenced yard/confines of the neighbourhood (block), to walking to and from school all by oneself.

I, too, remember it so well. Looking back on it after all these years, it felt like school was another world away (distance wise). Everything feeling so much larger than it is to a young and growing child.

Just got back from a neighbourhood garage sale and bought this for .75¢!

A baby nursery room organizer! Will be so handy to be able to store little things safely and conveniently in the pockets while having them readily accessible when needed!

I used to babysit for a mom when I was in senior high that had one of these. Ever since having my first baby I've wanted one, now I've got one!

Baby bottle nipples, soothers, diaper pins, all the small little things that are so important, all in one convenient place!

Nothing like adorable homemade knitted baby things!

Changing the baby's crib!

Love making up the cribs with fresh flannelette crib sheets, and today I'm going to hang the rubber crib sheet out on the clothesline to air.
