It looks like Fauci's goose is cooked

Anthony Fauci is being grilled before a Senate committee chaired by his arch enemy Rand Paul. Fauci has refused to answer any questions posed by committee members, even to the color of the carpet or the day of the week. His attorney apparently doesn't realize that Biden's pardon signed by autopen removes his fifth Amendment protection since he cannot be prosecuted for past actions at the Federal level, and turns Fauci's "Fifth" refusals into obstruction of justice. Fauci's diaries kept at HHS have been released in part by the committee, and reveal his acknowledgement that the lab leak was the likely reason for the Covid pandemic all the while publicly ridiculing those who posed that idea. He shows what a disgraced public official is and the lengths to which the Deep State will go to hide the truth from the American (and the World's) people.

Good afternoon to all-

With all due respect to Mr. Alaska, I beg to differ.

I feel that Rand Paul is a puppet and a stooge who only tries to strut his stuff and show how smart and tough he is. He shows, truly, just how wrong and abusive he is.

Dr. Fauci and his research staff did good work in a nearly impossible situation. The source of the COVID may never be known. But those who wish to gain advantage from a deadly disease outbreak find it easy to cast dirt on those who did the hard work to find and treat COVID.

And if you want to find "disgraced public official" it's not necessary to look any further than Dr. Paul.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

Given that it's Congress, however, I doubt that anything will come of it. Rand Paul and some other Republicans will rant, while Democrats will either defend the man or remain quiet, and, in the end, it will simply go away. Rand Paul might even want to do something worthwhile with it, but he'll never get enough of his fellow Republicans on board, and it doesn't help that Trump gave the last year of his first term over to Fauci, probably costing him the 2020 election. Congressional hearings give the media something to talk about and they give elected officials a platform to base their reelection hopes on, but that's usually the end of it, particularly when the Republicans have the majority. Fauci should be in prison, but he'll remain as he is, with all of his money intact.

Sorry Ed. Other Senators besides Paul came and brought the receipts. My Senator Ron Jonson had stacks of evidence on the usefulness of ivermectin and alternative therapies that Faucci denied any evidence of efficacy against the disease. He also had information on the damage caused by the gene therapy. Faucci famously lied about the masks as it suited his position...

I heard many questions by others as well, many relating to his abuse of his position, staffers on Federal payroll, etc. all involved in soliciting and collecting on "awards" consisting of substantial cash.

Aside from his role as a modern-day Josef Mengele evidence indicates that he is as corrupt as the day is long.

He's been denounced by pretty much everyone in the field with a shred of credibility.

But he's wealthy & that's what matters to him.
Dr. Anthony Fauci and his wife, Dr. Christine Grady, had an estimated combined household net worth of about $7.6 million before the pandemic in 2019. By the end of 2023, following his retirement, their combined net worth had grown to over $15 million. [1, 2, 3]
This growth represents their combined household assets, which include salaries, mutual fund investments, awards, and post-retirement income. [1]

Rand Paul is a PITA sometimes, but I think he has standards that he will hold to even when they are inconvenient. I don't necessarily agree with all of his standards, but I think he's been pretty consistent in them, and I have to admire that. In fact, many of those whom we are supposed to hate now, as Republicans, are people who still hold to principles that Trump once endorsed.

He does totally appear silly. It is pointed out, he has no 5th Amendment right for anything for which he has been pardoned. That leaves him open to an obstruction charge and a contempt citation. He could well be jailed, but state governments can still charge him for damage done by his policies. His failure to respond leaves his opponents to state whatever they want and he will not answer any statements or charges.

I would love it if they did, but I doubt he is going to face any repercussions from Congress. I am hoping that some states will file charges.
Our Senator Tommy Tuberville has said that if he is elected governor he will be filing charges against Fauci. I wish they could do something about charges for his terrible treatment and experiments on those poor Beagles !

The purpose of such experiments is not to benefit man. The purpose is to generate those huge research grants.
Following the money makes it revealing.
The failure rate for translating experimental drugs from animal testing to human clinical use is estimated to be over 92% to 95%. These high rates highlight a major gap in how laboratory results translate to human biology.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) | (.gov) +2

Animal experimentation often generates significant profit for the companies that breed subjects, sell laboratory equipment, and market successful drugs. However, for the institutions and taxpayers funding the research, it is generally a major financial drain, with billions of dollars spent annually on research that frequently fails to produce viable human treatments. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Causes of Clinical Translation Failure
    • Unexpected Toxicity: Safety issues and adverse reactions appear in humans that were not predicted during animal trials.
    • Lack of Efficacy: Compounds that clear preclinical safety checks fail to show actual therapeutic benefit in human patients.
    • Biological Differences: Fundamental physiological and genetic differences between species limit how accurately animal models mimic complex human diseases

Yes, those poor pups
Those poor monkeys restrained & forced to smoke cigarettes to prove they're unhealthy
Those poor rabbits forced to endure Windex in their eyes to prove ammonia is harmful to eyes.
on & on.......for profit.
