I'm Ron, I'm single, I live in Ohio and am retired 26 years this coming June. I'm 76 . I am [or at least was] 6'1" 230# silver/white hair, blue eyes. Nothing special about me, I live on a pension and have no complaints actually. I am conservative but try to consider all points, from all people. It is becoming harder all the time. I have developed some health issues but, won't bore ya with that.

As I said in another thread, I had been here before the shutdown , kept seeing closed/shutdown, etc so I drifted to another site, got thrown out of there, started looking around again and discovered this place was open again, so I re-registered . Always liked it here.

Howdy from Houston, Ron. I think I remember you as RP with a number (?) from the other senior forum. I left there several years ago so I'm probably mistaken. Anyway, it's nice to have you here. This is a "mostly" conservative bunch which I appreciate. It's getting harder to avoid liberal hysterical hogwash everywhere.

Welcome to the SOC forum, @CaliS ! Glad you found the introduction thread, and just join in on any conversations that appeal to you, or start a new thread about something you are interested in.
We all use regular names here instead of usernames. It does not have to be your real name, but it needs to have a first/last name and look like a real name. Message @Ken Anderson (Admin) and let him know what name you want to use here, and he will set it up for you.

Hi everyone, and happy Saturday!

I am a returning member who is happy to have found out that this
forum is back. I learned this from a post on another forum. I am a member
of now three Senior Online forums. I poke about and will touch base on all
of them as time allows.

My prior profile name here was Janine Coral, and of course will stay the same :)

I enjoy a variety of topics but stay clear of Politics and related things. Just my
choice is all.

Off and running, have a Saturday work shift today.

Will be popping back in slowly and surely.
