I don't just like chickens, ya know

I had a cow for a while.
Her name was Cow Patty, and she was an older milk cow, a Geurnsey/Hereford cross. I got her from my farrier, who had been breeding her to a Hereford bull each year and got nice beef babies from her. . She was around 12 years old or maybe more, and he didn’t want to sell her though the auction sale, so he gave me a good deal on her.

Patty would come in when I called her, and I put a horse blanket on her in the cold weather, and she was easy to milk. She was bred when i got her and had a calf, which I named Bull Pucky.

When I moved to Missouri, I left her with my son and he had her for quite a while, too.
Here is the Cow Patty song…… if you have not heard this, you need to.

I liked horses, donkeys and goats, latter two I had one of, horse I never got. Although Jake and I had horse and donkey, by then ,I didn't care to ride horses.
I'd like to have goats but I they like to travel ,although we do have property fenced with 5' no climb.
