Our forecast for the next 10 days shows rain. It is not raining here right now, but is supposed to be raining for most of the night. I sent the dogs out early for their night time trip and gave them their bedtime treat in case it is pouring down at bedtime, and I don’t want to send them out in the rain.

It's been drizzling on & off all morning, and the temps ain't getting out of the 50s. So I fired up the wood stove to burn the chill off. I had it going before I went to bed last night for the same reason. Heat pumps just don't cut it sometimes.

Rained most of the night but the sun is peeking through this morning. More rain coming, though.

24 F./-4.4 C. this morning. Will the freezing temps ever end??? It drizzled off and on yesterday and the high was in the low 50s F. We may have to get the woodstove in the big greenhouse going to get it planted. At least the ground is thawed enough to get water to the other side of the property, so that is a plus.

It has been cloudy and foggy this morning. It is supposed to rain here today too later on in the day. My husband will get the grill going before it rains and get the steaks cooked. Then we wrap them up and put them in the oven for a few hours at a low low temp to get super tender.
