How's the Weather Where You Are?

"False Spring" here. Several sunny days, most reaching well above freezing. Snow receding, ice melting, but this won't last forever.

But for now I'm getting a good charge on outdoor solar lighting so the night run-time and brightness are pretty good. Still too "mentally chilled" to build a patio fire at night and hang out there though.
 
Here in Florida, we're in a 3-year draught and tonight have a chance of rain, really hoping for that to happen.
Like Jacob, we're having some strange springtime type weather last few weeks and will be even more so into the week.

That is great, since you have been needing the rain. @Marie Mallory has been saying that they have been in a drought, so I am hoping that the rain reached where they live in Florida also.
We had rain yesterday, too; but the thunderstorms missed us.

Yvonne, we didn't get much rain at all but at least we got a couple short showers, no storms, no downpours though. just a lot of high winds.
 
Due to the raging fires in our area we had to evacuate yesterday. So we are in a motel in Dodge City, and I have been up since 2 am. Far as we know, no one lost a home or business. The fires came from the dust storm in Colorado . Yeah Brown Out . The winds were guts of 65 mph and that spread fire quickly. We will know more when we head home this morning. Miserable night I at the Best Western here. Someone kept stomping all night, the bed is kinda weird..it rolls like a water bed . Tried to take a shower, hot here is cold and cold is hot - but you can not adjust the temp/ We had to leave Delilah at the house and can not get her out of my mind. She has has never been alone all night. Plus all our furniture is covered in plastic,as we had worker repairing a wall.She can't even get to the couch she like to get on. I am so ready to get out of here.

What:
Snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm.
Reduced visibility in blowing snow with winds gusting up to 100 km/h.

When:
Beginning this morning and ending overnight.

Additional information:
Snow and blowing snow associated with an approaching system will develop this morning. Roads and walkways may be difficult to navigate. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Allow extra time for travel.

The northern edge of the snow boundary is very sharp. If the system tracks south snowfall amounts could be greatly affected.

The news is still showing fires in Kansas and people being evacuated ? Why would they not let people evacuate with their pets ? Hoping that your poor little Delilah is safe and doing okay all by herself. Sending prayers that everything is okay and you can go back home soon. Keep us updated as much as you can, It has to be hard with being on the road so much.
