It's interesting that this seems to be getting more common, with people tiring of Facebook. I was once very active on Facebook, as it was, and still is, albeit perhaps to a lesser degree, a place to remain in touch, or become reacquainted, with former co-workers, neighbors, friends, and family members, and even to get to know some of their family members whom you might never have met.I joined March of 2017.Was tried of FB.
But I got tired of Facebook after a time. In part, it was because of the proliferation of ads, as well as Facebook's censorship policies. The last straw was when I was banned from the platform for a week because of meme that I had created and shared seven years previous. I didn't come back, except to check in every month or so, for a long time. I am again visiting FB pretty much every day, however, because so many of those on my friends list there are getting up in years, as I am. I don't post regularly, just every now and then, so that people know that I'm still alive.
