How are you today 1-10?

3-4. Dental surgery recovery varies from day to day. I was much better yesterday but the 800 mg. Ibuprofen causes digestive problems even though I follow instructions to "Take With Food." I stopped taking it at 9:30 am today & I have to put up with severe pain in gums, sinuses, ear, eye & head. Upper teeth extractions have a more painful recovery. And, of course lying down means more blood to the head which means more pain.
I'm lucky to sleep 1-2 hours/night. And without molars, I'm getting tired of yogurt & watermelon. I had to force myself to eat anything today due to nausea; blood sugar keeps dropping.

Ice cream, soups, baby food, margaritas, apple sauce, …

Frozen yoghurt, sugar free ice cream, egg drop soup, soft scrambled eggs. Please be very careful with mashed potatoes, pasta and anything with pieces of herbs such as sauces.
Yes, the instructions the surgeon gave me said nothing spicy. I love hot salsa. Just before the surgery, I bought a tub of my favorite fresh salsa -
"La Mexicana." I think it will still be good in a week or two.
Thanks to diabetes, I don't eat pasta. I sometimes eat half a sweet potato.
With the salsa, I'll eat a lot of it with only 5 or 6 Mission Tortilla chips. They're the best!
